Goodrich Named ACM Distinguished Scientist

The Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) has named Dr. Michael T. Goodrich (Math/CS, 1983) a distinguished scientist for 2006. Worldwide, only 24 people were so honored. The award recognizes “significant accomplishments or significant impact on the computing field.” He is a professor of computer science at the University of California, Irvine (UCI), and is the director of the Center for Cyber-Security and Privacy.
